To restore the original purpose of Hip Hop — Community, Expression, Excellence, and Opportunity — while building a profitable, scalable creative enterprise that attracts artists, audiences, partners, and investors.

The Journey
From the Streets to the Stage
It Began With #1BLUD
#1BLUD Dance Crew founded in Glasgow by Rudy King Bantu as an act of resistance against bullying, racism and violence — hip hop as healing, unity, identity.
The Grassroots Grind
Weekly Buchanan Street performances across the years; stages include T in the Park, Glastonbury, Fringe Festival, Celtic Park and Hampden Park. TV appearances: Got To Dance, Move Like Michael Jackson.
BUSTABEAT Constituted
BUSTABEAT Dance, Fitness & Wellbeing formally constituted as a dedicated vehicle for dance, fitness and wellbeing programming.
Community Events Era
Summer Camp Jam, Halloween Street Jam, and school programmes across Glasgow brought the culture directly to young people.
The Revival Round Table
HHRE relaunch round table; Microphone Check Scotland Podcast launches, giving a platform to voices across the scene.
Expansion & International Reach
BUSTABEAT expands to 4 weekly venues across 4 council areas; international Amapiano x Ndombolo workshop deepens global connections.
A New Chapter
